The engineering team at Art Morrison Enterprises has focused their talents on the increasingly popular 1959-64 Chevrolets (I.E. Impala, Biscayne) and developed an innovative chassis that provides a low ride height and great handling.
What's more, this new AME GT Sport chassis features beefy "NEW" 3x4 main framerails and specially designed crossmembers that provide ample clearance for the exhaust system.
Front Suspension & Drivetrain Choices
Up front you'll find AME's highly acclaimed Sport IFS with its beefy tubular control arms, Strange adjustable coil-over shocks, or Morrison Air Spring Plus Suspension (Morrison Air Spring Plus Suspension shown in all photos) Wilwood spindles, an adjustable anti-sway bar and a power rack & pinion steering. Motor mounts are available for small block, big block, W-block (348-409) and LS-series engines. Transmission mounts can be configured for most any popular automatic or manual shift transmission.
Superior handling —and the ability to handle an abundance of power— is assured through a triangulated 4-bar rear suspension and a beefy 9" rear end.

Like all other Morrison GT Sport chassis, this new creation for the 1959-64 Chevy is mostly a bolt-in installation and requires minimal floorboard modifications. It will accommodate a wide range of wheel and tire combinations.
