Frank Fitzloff – Morris Minor Traveller Wagon

Posted On: April 29, 2021

Frank Fitzloff did an amazing job building a unique 1961 Morris Minor Traveller Wagon.

The car was built almost entirely by Frank in his home shop! Including but not limited to, all the fabrication, wiring, body prep, paint, vinyl top, pre and final assembly.

In Franks own words “This was my first build of this magnitude commencing in 2006 upon arrival of the AME chassis. Total time to complete as pictured was 12 years… And about 2,500 labor hours”.

He used a 3rd party for transmission rebuild and final install/hookup of the crate engine. Interior design, materials and patterns were done by Frank with stitchwork by a 3rd party.

It is powered by a GM Crate 350 Small Block Chevy along with a 700R4 Transmission. The car is built on a Morrison Chassis with Independent Front Suspension and 4 Link Rear Suspension and narrowed 9” Ford Housing.
